Jim Bibby grew up in Blackburn, Lancashire. After leaving grammar school in 1957 pursued a career in engineering as a Design Draughtsman, up to 1995 when he changed tack and entered the world of advertising.

Growing up in the forties and fifties and having five brothers and just two sisters, he developed a love of sport, particularly Blackburn Rovers and Lancashire County Cricket.

He had an interest in the media long before joining the advertising world and for a while, worked part time as a presenter on the local radio station.

Jim has four grown up children and eight grandchildren, now lives in semi-retirement in Chorley, Lancashire with his wife of thirty five years .
