Jean Sanderson grew up at Rivulet House Farm, Croft in Lincolnshire, England in the 1930s. She went on to study at Teacher Training College in Sheffield, married a Yorkshire man, Ted Gough, had two daughters and taught in an infant school for 38 years. Now 76 years old, Jean lives in Kippax, West Yorkshire.
