Eric was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. His lifelong love affair with Dark Age Europe began as a child, and has persisted through his almost thirty years of studying, researching and writing about the subject.

A published writer who has written short stories and articles alike, Eric published God's Hammer in 2004. The novel tells the true story of King Hakon Haraldsson's bitter fight against his ruthless brother Erik for the Norwegian throne.

Eric currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and son, and splits his time between writing and managing his own marketing company, Neology.
