Imagine an author with the conceptual mind of Stephen King, the raunchiness of Jackie Collins and the plotting ability of Frederick Forsyth. Imagine no longer - meet Marcus Lyndale. Born in Barnet, Hertfordshire, in 1959, Marcus Lyndale now lives in Lanarkshire with his wife Mary. An author who enjoys writing the books he himself would want to read, his style harps back to the great horror and mystery writers - whilst decidedly being a writer for the new millennium. Having spent many years 'experimenting' with writing - the first chapter of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (Book 2 of his epic the Light and the Dark) was conceived over twenty years ago - he now considers writing to be a pleasurable way of filling his every spare moment. The author's ambition in life is to achieve a position whereby he is able to devote even more time to his writing, making it his life's work. Currently working as a freelance photographer, he has previously been employed variously as an articled chartered accountant, a zookeeper, an estate agent, a milkman, a mobile phone tester and a library bookseller.
